The She Is Team
We are a team of women who love Jesus, His Body, and are committed, each according to our own callings, to partnering with Him in the coming of His Kingdom. We are for one another and we are for you! May we become all Jesus intended us to be.
There are so many more women than those shown below who are making this gathering possible. We are deeply thankful for each and every one.

Founder and Worship Team
katie bodager
Katie sovereignly encountered Jesus in her college apartment at age 21. Since that day, knowing Jesus and making Him known has been the great joy and purpose of her life. She longs to see the Church become everything it was intended to be. Music is the language of her heart, and she loves to write new songs with and for Jesus. In March, Katie will complete her Masters in Divinity at Global Awakening Theological Seminary. She is the founder of the non-profit ministry When Love Finds Love and The Table School of Discipleship. She is married to Greg, and they have four amazing children. Apart from Jesus Himself, Katie's family is her absolute greatest treasure.

Teaching Team - Itinerant Pastors
Dr. Alan & Gail Hawkins
Alan had a profound encounter with Jesus as a freshman football player in college which opened the door for God to call him into full-time ministry. He and Gail were married during college and set off for seminary after graduation. Alan was educated through Southern Baptists and has two Master of Divinity degrees as well as further studies throughout the years, culminating with a Doctor of Ministry degree with Dr. Randy Clark through United Theological Seminary. Alan served as a local church pastor for over forty-five years. After twenty-five years as Southern Baptists, he and Gail launched out and started New Life City in 2000. Gail joined him in 2007 full-time after a powerful year at a ministry training school. Pastoring together has been the joy of their lives. They felt the call of the Lord to relinquish their church in 2021 and begin a ministry of teaching and serving throughout the U.S. and the world as God opens doors. Alan teaches theology at Global Awakening Theological Seminary and teaches at the Global Awakening Supernatural Ministry School. His passion is teaching, and his preferred subjects are Covenant, Kingdom, and New Creation in the Holy Spirit.

Worship & Teaching Teams
amanda carter
From a very young age, the Lord has connected Amanda's heart to her singing. She grew up knowing that the condition of her heart before God mattered more than her abilities on display for others. This has translated not only into how she has led worship for the past 30 years, but also how she teaches God's Word. She is a mother of two daughters and one son all in different stages of life: college, high school, and middle school, and they are three of the greatest joys and wonders of her life. Amanda loves to have a full house of people enjoying each other, good food, conversation, and laughs. What motivates her most is the deep love and friendship she shares with God. He is her favorite. She has a passion for people to read and understand God's word. She has a passion for people to know Him in the day-to-day. Mostly, she has a passion for the people of God to rise into all that He has created each one to be. Strengthening the body is one of her primary passions for the revelation of His Person on the earth and the fullness of joy for those walking with Him! To God be the Glory!

Teaching Team & Market Artist
brooke harris
Brooke Harris is an artist and writer who calls Lexington, Kentucky home. She loves expressing the love of Jesus in her work as she creates abstract scenes that depict something greater than the physical: a spiritual reality expressed in paint. While she received a B.A. in Journalism (minor in Art) at Asbury University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University, her passion is connecting people through creativity. Out of her different teaching experiences, Brooke saw a real need for people to learn that they are creative. The River of Willows community was born from this desire - to help people have a safe space to create centered on the love of the Father. Brooke lives with her husband, Aaron and her two spirited daughters.
